A total of Seven hundred and six teachers have been inducted into the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
The Registrar, TRCN Professor Josiah olusegun Ajiboye who was represented by Kwara State coordinator of TRCN Mr. Abdulhakeem oladimeji stated this during the induction ceremony of graduates of college of Arabic and Islamic Legal studies, Ilorin into the Council.
He explained that quality education can only be guaranteed by professional teachers whose delivery, prowess, ability,coordination and general management of the classroom activities will lead to qualitative transformation of the pupils.
TRCN state coordinator said that oath taking is the most important legal basis for admission into the teaching profession and any breach of the law Will lead to sanction by the council.
Also, The provost of the college, DR. olokoba Ayinla said the induction reaffirmed traditional higher education ritual and designed to provide qualified graduates into the teaching profession.
