The leadership of the South-South People’s United Forum and members of the South-South in APC under the leadership of Otunba Isaac Emiyede heartily rejoice and congratulate two wonderful and outstanding leaders of repute, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State and Engr. Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State on the attainment of their first 365 days in office.
In a statement signed by the Forum’s Acting Secretary, Hon. Dr. Paul Omatseye Fregene, the Forum stated that “the last 365 days have been quite eventful and challenging as our Governor and the deputy have continued to put smiles on the faces of the people, especially in the critical area, such as Education, Tourism, Security, Healthcare and Infrastructure.”
The Forum also stated that “since their assumption of office, peace and progress have reigned supreme in the entire State as both human and infrastructural development have continued to take the center stage, in tandem with the six pillars(THEMES) of their administration development agenda.
The SSPUF is fortunate to be identified with the vision and landmark achievements of the Governor and his deputy, the Forum prayed that the Almighty God continue to sustain the peace and progress that have characterized governance in Lagos State.
“Without gainsaying, your administration is a promise kept, despite the huge challenges, you have remained resolute and resilient even in the most turbulent period such as this. Your undying spirit to achieve the impossible is what makes both of you distinct and unequivocal. We wish you many more years of success and unrivaled services.”
