Peter Okoye, a member of the duo PSquare, has given opponents of the Labour Party’s flag bearer for the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi, justification to attack him.
On 30th of August 2022 Peter, commonly known as Mr. P, claimed that the reason why opponents attack Obi is because their candidates are subpar.

In a message uploaded on his Twitter account, Okoye stated that opponents cannot promote their candidates without disparaging Peter Obi.
The tweet read: “Do you know why some people can’t sell their candidates without attacking Peter Obi? Because their candidates are bad market.”
