The endorsement of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was not guaranteed according to the Pentecostal Bishops Forum of Northern Nigeria.
Recall that on Thursday in Abuja, Tinubu met with the Pentecostal Bishops Forum of Northern Nigeria.
“We are not committed to endorsing anybody, but you should ask your conscience and from what you have heard and from the explanation, he (Tinubu) had given to us to make your own judgement of who will better rule and handle the country,” said Archbishop John Praise, the chairman of the Pentecostal Bishops Forum of Northern Nigeria, during the meeting.
The APC presidential hopeful assured the bishops that Kashim Shettima, a former governor of Borno State, was not a danger to the Christian community.
