According to a former senator named Abdulmumin Jibrin, Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has an advantage over Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the race for president.
Jibrin asserts that Kwankwaso is the APC presidential contender with the most exposure and experience.
Additionally, he said Kwankwaso would act in the same way as President as he did as Governor of Kano State.
Jibrin claimed that Kwankwaso’s qualities, whom he identified as his political mentor, are evident to all.
Speaking on Channels TV, the spokesperson for Kwankwaso’s campaign stated, “What I have always maintained is that Kwankwaso has an advantage, definitely has an edge.
“In terms of experience, in terms of the responsibilities that he’s held, in terms of exposure, in terms of what he has achieved as governor, everything that we are saying, that Kwankwaso is going to do is what he has done as a governor.
“Relating to the case of Bola Tinubu, I have said it much earlier; I’ve never taken back any word I have said about Tinubu, but I have moved to another party, reunited with my political mentor who I have always believed has an edge over them.
“And these things are all things that can be seen clearly.”
