Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has said that he will support Labour Party nominee Peter Obi in the 2023 presidential election.
On Wednesday afternoon, Fayose declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to be “a dead party” at the federal level via his well-known Facebook page.

The PDP National party is dead! I will be voting for Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu. My voting location is in Admiralty Way Phase 1 in Lekki.
“For President, I am voting Mr. Peter Obi,” Fayose wrote.
In the meantime, during the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) forum taking place the following week at the Commerce House, Victoria Island, Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, will talk on the economic strategy for Nigeria.

Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president of Nigeria and the PDP’s presidential candidate, and Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential contender, will both speak at the event.
The event, which would be live-streamed on social media, would provide attendees a chance to interrogate the presidential candidates on their manifestos, according to LCCI.
