For the general elections in 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has started hiring ad hoc workers.
The electoral umpire asked interested and qualified people to go to its authorised portal in a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, September 07, 2023.
The reactivation of INECPRES’s web portal and mobile app for Android phones only has been approved by the Commission (laptops only).
To this purpose, all eligible applicants may register for all categories of ad-hoc employees (SPO/PO/APO/RATECHS/RAC Managers) through the web, with the exception of Collation officers.
The statement said, in part, “The gateway starts on Wednesday, September 14, and concludes on November 30, 2022.”
Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of INEC, announced last week that the organisation would release the final names of candidates for president and the national assembly on September 20. The electoral authority also announced that the start of the campaigns will be on September 28.
