The feud between a former Federal Legislator, Senator Dino Melaye, and a former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, appears to have escalated as the two continue to attack one other on social media.
Trouble began when Fani-Kayode, a staunch supporter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, objected to Dino Melaye’s interview in which he described how the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, was elected.
While commenting on requests for Ayu’s resignation, Dino, the spokesman for PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar’s campaign, said, “All the PDP Governors spent money at our party’s National Convention to have Senator Iyorcha Ayu elected as National Chairman.”
However, FFK, a human rights lawyer, viewed Dino’s remark as an open confession, emphasising that the procedure of appointing Ayu as the party’s chairman was illegal.

This is a terrible and serious situation, he stated. It is a public confession of a criminal offence made by a senior member of the PDP cabal that committed the offence.
As a result, Ayu’s election was corrupt and criminal, as was Waziri Atiku Abubakar‘s selection as their party’s presidential flagbearer at a subsequent conference conducted by him.
Dino, enraged by Fani-remark, Kayode’s slammed the former minister, branding him as a drug addict.
He stated, “My attention has been drawn to a statement published by Femi Fani Kayode, which, as usual, was an unintelligible nonsense produced by his temporary relief from lunacy.”

“How else can one explain his fleeting awareness of reacting to an interview long granted, if not that his sense of reality is out of sync with the world of sound minds?”
This did not go well, as the former Minister resorted to his social media accounts to criticise Dino.
FFK accused Dino of being a coward, claiming that he was nothing more than a tout at the time and that nothing had changed. Even at a young age, he was a fat, ugly, balding, obese man.
“What can one say about a man who enjoys licking other men’s arses?” Stop acting like a coward and weeing and defecating in your trousers whenever difficulty arises.
