Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has warned the party’s National Working Committee to be mindful of opposition spies and moles.
Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, predicted that the opposition will attempt to enter the ruling party and weaken unity.
Tinubu gave the charge when the party’s National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, accompanied members of the NWC to meet him on his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate, according to Felix Morka, an APC spokesman.
Prior to the 2023 general elections, the APC Presidential candidate asked the committee to remain strong, united, and alert.
Tinubu stated that he is fully committed to working with the party to win the general election. He also expressed faith in the APC National Working Committee and its leadership.
He thanked the committee, party members, and Nigerians for the extremely smooth running of the party’s National Convention, which resulted in his election as its presidential candidate.
During the visit, Adamu reaffirmed the committee’s determination to deliver the presidency to the party and Tinubu in the 2023 general election.
