Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reacted to his selection as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in 2023.
With a total of 371 votes, Atiku won the primary held at the MKO Abiola National Stadium on Saturday.

“Today, the battle to rebuild and unite our great country moves forward,” Atiku posted on Twitter after his victory on Saturday night. I’m honored to be named the official candidate for @OfficialPDPNig.
“I look forward to speaking with Nigerians across the country, taking the message of hope and unity as we build one future for one people.-AA #OneNigeria.”
