The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied circulating on social media a claimed primary election schedule.
According to reports, the APC released the primary election schedule for the 2023 elections on Wednesday in order to fulfill the Independent National Electoral Commission’s June 3, 2022 deadline (INEC).

Barrister Felix Morka, the APC’s spokesman, told reporters at the party’s national office in Abuja on Wednesday that the party had not set a date for its primaries.
He, on the other hand, urged Nigerians and party members to avoid the fictitious timetable spreading online.
