Ibikunle Amosun, the former governor of Ogun State and a presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, has stepped down in favour of Bola Tinubu, the party’s national leader.
This was expressed by the lawmaker representing Ogun Central senatorial district while speaking to delegates at the ruling party’s ongoing presidential primary.
Amosun, who outlined the obstacles to Nigeria’s advancement, pledged to work with Tinubu to address the problems plaguing the country.
