No fewer than two persons have been confirmed dead after a helicopter crashed into a building along Opebi in Ikeja area of Lagos State.
InsightnaijaTV gathered from an eye witness that the incident happened about 12:15 pm on Friday, 28th August, 2020.
As at time of filing this report, the chopper was still at the scene of the incident.
Our correspondent reports that four passport were seen at the scene of the crash which involves two buildings.
The victims were taken to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH for urgent medical attention.
However, the officials of Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, LASEMA, and other security personnel were on ground.
As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained but the accident investigation bureau recovers blackbox.
The helicopter, Bell 206 operated by Quorum Aviation was reported to have flew from Port Harcourt.
